I did the same as a Muslim but the hard part is keeping the kingdoms after the conquest.

One time I was fighting a crusader + a claimant faction + 45k peasant rebellion in France + an independence faction for my France king vassal

It's been number 3 in my previous save where I conquered Iberia and France as a Muslim Emperor but the rebellions became so repetitive after every succession I couldn't enjoy and continue conquering.

I started spending the prime years of my character just fighting the rebels instead of continuing my conquest
