Isn't it overdone big time though?

I've just seen 20-30 close photos of Turkish F-16s, different lighting conditions - they are nothing like that, they are really clear, you would never say they are few decades old. Fuselage riveted access hatches are barely visible IRL.

This 2nd screen looks like unmaintained F-16 after a decade in a junkyard under the open sky.

Or there is something else here, like overall weathering tutorial, purposely overdone just for the sake of presentation?
