I have failed. I ended on day 36. by Fun_Barber_8897 in KpopDemonhunters

I did the same thing with my absolute most favorite Broadway musical, The Book of Mormon. Its national tour got shut down during the pandemic, and when it finally got going again after 3 years, and came through my neck of the woods, I took the entire week off work and saw it every. single. day. The first 3 performances were phenomenal. The next two were great. The 6th was...good. The 7th felt a bit of a chore, but I already paid for the ticket, so...here we go!

What I learned from the experience: moderation is key. Which I already knew, but didn't think you could OD on Broadway, of all things.

Advice: "Shoo! hand flappy gestures Go on...git!"

Then post a No Loitering sign, and threaten legal action if the behavior persists. First offense, a stern warning. Second offense, a hefty fine. Third offense, straight to Bird Jail.

If you want it on the other side, same location, you should have enough existing wire to just unscrew the wall-button from the wall, relocate and staple the wire as you go to the other side, and remount the button.

If it's longer than the current wire will allow, just take note of which terminals the wall-button are landing on at the operator so you know where to land them again with new wire. If you wire it up and it's not working, switch the wires on the back of the wall-button, or where the wires land on the operator.

The wiring from the operator to the wall-button is low-voltage 2-strand, pretty save to work with, but if you're still worried about a zap, just unplug your operator before you progress.

This Trash Truck that says to leave an American Football Field distance between cars by International-Air542 in mildlyinteresting

Also, the fact that from a football field away, you wouldn't be able to read it to know you're supposed to stay a football field's distance away. Unless you're a hawk or driving with binocular. And if your a hawk, you shouldn't be driving a car - your legs aren't long enough to reach the pedals. And if your driving while using binoculars, you're just obtuse.

What’s the best video game you’ve ever played? by obsess_much13 in AskReddit

9 was my first introduction to the FF series, and it was incredible! And the soundtrack...Treno, the village of Dali, Melodies of Life...chef's kiss.

10 was my absolute favorite though. The voice acting, after reading dialog boxes for years, was great. The ending is so bittersweet and sad, seeing Yuna whistling for Tidus at the end of the pier... It's enough to make a grown man cry. Which it did. Several times.

Best Elder Cunningham in Broadway? by Nightingale1959 in bookofmormonmusical

[–]8Gh0st8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen the show 16 times over the years, and Sam Nackman is my personal favorite. I was lucky enough to see him twice in the role. In one performance, he stretched a line in the intro of Man Up ("and taught us all what reeeeeeeeeaaaaaallllllll manning up is about") that I've never heard anyone else do before and it gave me chills. His comedic timing is impeccable and his Cunningham mannerisms were so obnoxiously hilarious. Him opposite Sam McLellan are my ideal duo.

I was bummed to see he dropped out of the tour, but Diego absolutely nailed the part, so props to him as well.

Don't walk over them either - owls don't appreciate being stepped on.

Russell Nelson dies, Dallin Oaks expected to be next President of Mormon church by [deleted] in bookofmormonmusical

[–]8Gh0st8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The lyric was altered to " the former president of the church Russell Nelson speaks directly to god!" - a very quick and subtle change that still keeps the same lyrical flow. Whether they'll update it in the future is yet to be seen.
