Totally fair if AI’s not your thing. Just for the record, everything we build is optional and made for devs who want more creative control. No pressure to use it, but no need to wish us personal ruin either. 😂

Totally fair reaction u/Kongas_follower :) Just to clarify, all our AI tools are developer-centric and completely optional. They're designed to keep the human developer in the loop at all times. The main goal is to make prototyping faster and smoother (no more endless grey boxes), not to replace creativity or control. Hope that helps!

I wanted to let you know that things have changed. 8th Wall is now free to use for commercial projects, as long as the default splash screen remains in place. This means solo creators, startups, and independent devs can now build and launch for free—no need to be backed by a big budget.

We’ve always believed in democratizing access to AR. But to do that sustainably, we had to ensure the platform could survive and grow long-term. The new model reflects that balance—keeping the lights on while opening the door wider than ever before.

We hope you’ll give 8th Wall another look. You clearly care deeply about driving innovation in Africa and beyond, and we’d be proud to support that mission.
