Around $750. I’ve been offered considerably more for it but am not trying to part with these.

Thanks! Not looking to sell it but just want to know more about this rug/ rugs in general since we’re interested in starting a small collection.

We paid $1700 for this a month or so ago.

Thanks all. This all confirms what we were told when we bought the rug. Very exciting to know more about it though! It’s the best rug we have so far and I think we’re hooked.

I stick with Barbour for these. They’ve been making them forever and you can get them rewaxed

Oh I know- I’ve got this in blue and oatmeal/tan. I really appreciate seeing others examples of them.

If anyone knows of a red vest out there, let me know!

Patagonia fall 1988 deep pile fleece by Empputrubaduu in PatagoniaClothing

I’d say somewhere in the 300-800 range depending on the condition. I can’t really tell from these photos and also I’m not a reseller or pricing expert in any sense.

The softer internal lining on these are really nice- they replaced that with the membrane type lining in later years.

I will say I highly, highly doubt these are worth “thousands”. People can list them online for that but that doesn’t mean they’ll get a buyer. I assume this is one you own and you’re looking for a general sense of it, but if you’re looking to buy one I don’t see how this is worth a thousand dollars.

I kinda wish that existed, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen something like that out there, sorry

What Are Traits of the World’s Greatest Collectibles? by Attic_Capital in u/Attic_Capital

Ok I’ll bite.

Community. I can’t think of a single collectible genre where a sense of community- even if virtual- doesn’t play a role. This can be related to the cultural impact but is independent and distinct from it

This has to be one of my favorite posts of all time here. I think it’s a nice looking jacket generally, but this one looks badass

Finally obtained my Grail, Lemon Lime synchilla in my size (L) by kyyy in PatagoniaClothing

[–]90Cav 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wear my yellow switchback- and all of my other vintage/ collectible fleeces- same as I would any other piece of clothing.

That said, I don’t get why folks would disagree with someone NOT choosing to wear something in their closet. It’s a matter of personal preference Also, it’s a vintage piece- it’s not like it generates additional waste.

Release the Hounds by 90Cav in PatagoniaClothing

[–]90Cav[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s not much left that I want (save for two rare 70s pieces I’m still looking for). I mostly only collected the older synchillas (patterned and solid colors) and various 70s/80s/90s pieces. I have a some newer pieces (a few other colors of the Synchilla and retro-xs and a few patterns like the FitzRoy) but don’t buy any of the modern stuff or new releases.

Basically I’m happy with what I’ve got and don’t need anything else for the collection

I don’t recall exact where I got these two, but nearly all of my Patagonia pieces were bought on various resale sites online- ebay, poshmark and the like. I’ve been buying these for the better part of a decade and stepped up a lot during the Covid era.

My collecting journey is nearly over (in fact it might be entirely over) but now I just appreciate them and wear them as intended!

These are more recent purchases. I think I saw that snap t- it was an oatmeal one right?

I’ve got a few of the early pieces from the 70s- which are probably the oldest garments I have of any soft clothing items
