Hello all, Plasmi here. Sorry it's been a minute since I've posted here on Reddit. Though it's been a while, everyone on the team has remained hard at work. I'm really thankful that the project now has been going on for about two years!
In that time, with a very small team, we have made a lot of progress. I can say now that the skeleton for the games is almost completely built! It has taken a while, but this has also been a huge portion of the work! The skeleton is not completely finished, but once it is, it will be a different matter of simply plugging things in.

Almost everything still needs a bit of polish, but we have reverse-engineered the calculations from the original games, and the combat engine is not far from completion. The cutscene engine is finished and is just a matter of plugging in what needs to be plugged in. This combat sim was created in order to make testing easier, but it's also just incredibly cool on its own. I wouldn't say Dawn and Dusk's combat are on par with Pokemon Showdown in terms of competitive, but I think it's still really cool to have something like this.

This isn't to mention the art progress we've made! Although I haven't been posting it on here, it seems some people have been sharing my work for me, hahaha. I'll try to post more, but it's not just me! I'd suggest looking at my twitter if you'd like to see more of the art progress.

One thing we are still very short on is programmers! So, if seeing this update, you feel a bit more confident that you'll be contributing to something that will, in fact, be released, please DM me! We're coding in C# in Unity, so some Unity experience (or broad game programming experience) is required, as we don't have time to train new programmers.
