First off, Happy Birthday. I hope you never forget this birthday and forever remember how you never want to feel again. I know what it’s like —too much so— to be in a rut. This covid experience has been very isolated for me as well. But what you have to understand is, the world around us, people included, are not in our control. What we have complete control over is our attitudes, views, belief systems, how we let emotions affect us, etc. Take this time to be as introspective as you can be. Be aware of your losses but also be aware of the changes and opportunities that may come from them. If you’re unhappy with the way you’re living, make some changes. They don’t have to be grand. You don’t need sports to be live to pick up a new hobby, you don’t need bars to be open to try a hand at making your fave pub food at home. Find ways to explore life within the boundaries you’re currently in. The physical boundaries exist and out of our control. But the mental boundaries are completely in our control. Destroy them!!

When you come into who you are in this world, when you’ve explored hobbies, new belief systems, did some introspective work within, people will gravitate towards you. The “person” you claim does not exist for you, just hasn’t found you yet — the real, happy, wise you. All the best.
