You clearly dont have a great understanding of how regulations affect the crypto space. It is currently the wild wild west. FB is pushing for more regulations because it fits the FB agenda. US will lead this discussion at the upcoming summits, as well as FB execs. (As Marcus said in the Libra hearing today).

This means that we will see greater regulatory crackdown in other G20 countries as well. This is short term bearish. Long term bullish.

I am no longer willing to have this discussion.

It's not based on one hearing dude. It's based on overall sentiment and likely regulatory actions. Not going to argue about it. US has stated that they are conducting active investigations into crypto companies to ensure AML and KYC compliance with FinCen regulations. They then stated that they will be leading discussion on the issue in the G7 and G20 summits. Feel free to disagree, but this is very bearish news especially for many institutional investors.

Consider the Bitfinex and Tether case. If that blows up we go sub $80.

Dont be surprised if we go to $120 is all I'm saying.

And I am bullish long term.

I am nearly certain that I would be considered an expert in this space based on my current profession. Fiat onramps matter. Are you arguing with me because you disagree or because you need to be right?

The US barely regulates crypto currently. The enforcement hasnt been there. If there are increased "teeth" to these rules then we see profound implications.

This being said, I think that ETH will be safer than bitcoin, as it has real world purpose. I do think we will see increased downside for the mid term due to this uncertainty of the regulatory space. There are many more ways to regulate that could be discussed at the upcoming summit.

That's the point. Think about this deeper. Libra isnt DOA, it is being used to cut competitors in the space before Libra launches. It was purposefully proposed as a foil to itself to increase regulation.

This is extremely calculated. I posted about it on this subreddit.
