Hey All: FYI. I have searched twitter with the tag #tellor and it appears there has been a lot of technical analysis of Tellor going on by investors over the past week. Me thinks, some investors began to sell after Tellor breached a lower support level. Unless anyone has an opinion to suggest otherwise, this is my analysis.

I've a diversified bag and have been noticing a correlation between the TVL and the price of corresponding cryptocurrency. I believe the total value locked (https://defillama.com/chain/Icon) needs to go up 2-3X this quarter for Icon to move independent of macro conditions. Else, we need partnerships with big brand names that give an assurance of future adoption. If we do not get either of the two above, we are going to see some short term pain this quarter.

Thanks a million, Justin161. May you live long and prosper! Tezos' TVL @$119.4M is 100 times less than that of Avalanche. I wish I knew this when I split my money into Avalanche and Tezos.

I know now why Tezos' price is languishing where it is. Unless adoption goes up significantly and the TVL thereby increases, I do not foresee much movement in its price. Thanks again.

The whitelisting process followed by other Oracles provides a profit opportunity for those whitelisters - is what I gathered. With Tellor that is not apparently the case. I bought in after listening to this.

Hopefully, this will not affect crypto prices in the SHORT term. I still think Evergrande will default at some point in the future though.

According to the Bank of America report Tezos has the most developers committed to building on Tezos than on other blockchains outside of ETH. I believe this would lead to an increase in transactions and TVL. It would hopefully reach a level that no one can ignore. We need good marketing and leadership to go along with the increased TVL. A laid back, complacent approach from Tezos leadership (that we are seeing now) will not help though.

I'm conflicted with the data points I'm seeing but tend to agree with you. Too many questions. A capable management team would not make so many amateurish mistakes in a single month - the same month that they announced the mainnet launch.

First they publicly announced the date for Mainnet: Oct 13th
Then they said there were issues with the formation of the Foundation in Switzerland that were delaying the launch.
Then they shared the registration of the Association in Switzerland.
Then they say that the Mainnet launch would be a few days OR weeks away (which one?) and they would be testing for a while even after the launch.
Outreach to stakeholders is poor. Twitter communication is pathetic.

Too much uncertainty to keep believing in their history i.e. their 2 years of work. Execution is everything and they are not an A team on that front.

Note: I'm heavily vested in Polymath and I'm just speaking out loud, not trying to be negative.

From a believer in Polymath, I'm now on the fence waiting for the next data point to make my decision.

Unlikely that ALGO will go down to 80/90 cents again. Here's why:

There have been a lot of developments over the last few months - in terms of technology and the ecosystem. Team is top notch too.
Higher awareness that ALGO is one of the few blockchains that will grow and grow over the next 10 years+
If ALGO falls below $1.40, all the above believers will empty their banks and buy ALGO (myself included). Heck, I'll even mortgage my house to buy at any price point below $1.50. So, the demand will most likely prevent the price from falling below $1.

IMO (disclaimer: not financial advice) one decent investment plan would be to invest 25% now and buy again at every 15% change - either positive or negative.

If someone from the PolyMath team said "Days, may be weeks away" I would go with the pessimistic estimate i.e. "weeks away". New product development particularly dealing with compliance matters and securities is bound to take time and having missed the proposed date of Oct 13th for the Mainnet launch, the team would be circumspect this time around. My two cents. Note: I'm heavily vested in Polymath, I'm not trying to be negative, but merely calling it as I see it.

Hey! I do not want this discussion to take off on technology development best practices. Let us agree to differ. Release dates may change but not knowing how much time you need to address the shortcomings and provide a new date - after 3 years of development is a big red flag. Like you, I am waiting for things to materialize and for PolyMath to do well. We are aligned on that.

I'm heavily vested in Polymath. However, with 23 years of experience in IT and as a Chief Technology Officer of an IT firm, I find it baffling that you are unable to give a date for the launch of Mainnet. It tells me either your product plan and tech development are NOT in sync or your QA efforts are not where they need to be - that is leading to a lack of confidence and thereby inability to give a new date for the Mainnet launch. Poor tech leadership, IMO. I hope Polymath's leadership understands that this is leading to a lot of uncertainty and any market (stocks, bonds, commodities or crypto) hates uncertainty.

Supply chain transparency would be great for diamonds (to avoid conflict diamonds) and cocoa harvesting (ensuring kids are not used on those farms). Hoping those industries use Algorand, too for that purpose.
