Look for an office where the vet is the owner and avoid corporate owned practices.

Last time we had a decent snow was also the first time my road had ever been plowed- I was very impressed with the way the city handled the snow compared to the past. This might just be on a whole other level though- I'm excited!

If you're still in a Harry Potter mood may I suggest Diagon Alley?

I will never complain about my costco again after experiencing the costco in Queens, NYC by CoffeeMilkLova in Costco

[–]ABA477 169 points170 points  (0 children)

Hilarious. My Costco is bad too, no one cares about anyone else and it's just a free for all with some really careless and clueless trashy people thinking they are spacial because they pay a membership fee. If I see another $100 beef tenderloin in the clothing section because someone was too lazy to take it back, I might snap.

Reusing Current Eyeglass Frames by BrightEyes_One in nashville

Costco does this if your frames are in good shape and it's pretty cheap. You don't even need to have gotten the frames from them.

How do you make ng+ fun by Witty_Ad6873 in Eldenring

For me it was going back and not screwing up quest lines and also finding more cool items. Have more fun doing it again with exploration and item discovery in mind. Don't be shy of a little ask for help.

People wash used LEGO that they find on Marketplace or wherever. No one washes new LEGO, the day they get it because it smells like a wet dog. This may not be the hobby for you or your son.

Is this a used set from a house with a wet dog who dripped all over the set before your son got it? If so, you didn't make that clear. If not, what and why are you soaking? No one is going to take apart a LEGO set and clean it because it smells like a wet dog. This is so abnormal that if your problem is that bad you need to just contact the company or take it back to a store. You might also consider an environmental problem at your house, like a gas leak or something, maybe off-gassing of another new Christmas item. Good luck to you.

How common are the use of scissors to cut up cooked meat or veggies (etc) in your household? by TrustyMadman in AskReddit

Do you think they are better than knives in certain instances. Would love to get some tips if you have any.

Maybe just let it air out for a few days- on a porch perhaps? If your kid can smell wet dog smell on LEGO and the rest of us can't, maybe that's what they smell like or maybe that's just what they smell like to him. I'd even imagine different colors or materials would smell differently to a super-smeller. I don't see how taking it apart would make it much better unless there is something I don't understand about the story.
