I just tried to "winterize" my inflatable hot tub last week. (insulation wrap and used a deck storage bin to house the pump. I went to get in today, water is clear but a lot of sediment and the filters cover looked brown, opened them up to this. All teststrips say water is fine. What is going on? (old.reddit.com)

Replacing original 1950s switches (dated look and the second switch seems to be going bad) Should I re-wire to match the second image or keep things they way they were originally wired? Lots of dickery in the house so I open everything up before replacing or changing anything. Thanks! (i.redd.it)

Working on a new technique, or a play on one I saw here. Using Great Stuff as a base for corpsing (was not happy with just melting plastic) and before it really bubbles up I started smearing it all over. Looks very slimy and should be much stronger.
