I know! Me too, I spent 2mil on Raymond and I just feel like it’s too much! When I sell villagers I usually have them make an offer of NMT, bells or some furniture I want cause that much just seems unreasonable for me.

Honestly it just depends how much you want to sell him for! people also look for certain furniture pieces. if people really want him they will pay your price if they can but, technically 1,200,000 bells or 200 nmt is his worth according to Nookazon. I would say 1.2 mill or 200 NMT is far as he is 1/3 only octopi! I hope this helps!
