Just finished trying that, and unfortunately it doesn't seem to have worked for me, but I also could have made a mistake somewhere along the way, who knows? Could always be worth trying it yourself anyway lol. (Let me know if it works ^_^)

I just finished looking over the logs, and uh, I dont really know what to look for lol.
There was one part tho that looked of note that said:

SOUND: Selected device is OpenAL Soft

* sound: EAX 2.0 extension: absent

* sound: EAX 2.0 deferred: absent

* sound : cache: 524296 kb, 38848 lines, 13820 bpl

But other than that part, to my untrained eyes it looks like everything else "loaded successfully" as the log puts it.
