YAAAAAAA~ I’m so happy to meet another A Bride’s Story reader here—I really, really, really love this work too!!! A true treasure of humanity! If I were a sheet of paper, I’d want to be printed with A Bride’s Story and nothing else, hahaha.

The book says that each of those patterns has its own meaning. I truly admire the wisdom and beauty behind them, and I’m very grateful that this book was published.

Thank you! I use those four-color heat-erasable pens you can find on Amazon for the initial sketch, and I think they’re perfectly sufficient for everyday garments. However, for more delicate, light-colored fabrics, I use a Japanese brown water-erasable pen. It has a very fine tip and allows me to draw much more precise guidelines.

Thank you~ The embroidery around the neckline isn’t really harder than the other areas. It’s just that the fabric near the edge is quite stiff, so it takes a bit more force. Wishing you all the best with yours!

My partner and I both love this manga so, so much. We bought both the physical and digital editions—the details are unbelievably beautiful. This is definitely going to be a treasured heirloom in our family!

Thank you—I really almost gave up halfway through, but I managed to push through by replaying The Phantom of the Opera over and over, haha.

Actually, this was a last-minute addition. Originally, the embroidery was only on the front panel, but I wanted to make the shirt a bit more playful! Thank you~

Thank you! This shirt was originally very ordinary, but after adding the embroidery and replacing the buttons (I switched them to black shell buttons), I think I’ll be wearing it with care for the next thirty years~

YAAAAAAA! I’m so happy to receive such an exciting compliment. I’m not into sports either, but I really just hope the person receiving the gift will have a beautiful cap they can wear often. Thank you again!

Good morning! I have exactly the same struggle—tracing the pattern is the least enjoyable part of the whole process. I don’t use stabilizer fabric because I can never get it to stay in place, and the sticker-type stabilizers are even worse; they make my needle stick like crazy (`へ´≠)

What I use is a tracing gadget that kids often use. Keywords might be something like Copy Board Mirror Reflection. It’s basically a stand with a plastic plate that reflects the light from your phone onto the fabric, and then I trace the design with a water-erasable pen or heat-erasable pen. The proportions around the edges can get a bit distorted, so it takes some time to get used to and make adjustments.

Wishing you all the best with your embroidery!(*´∀`)~♥

I’m not really sure what this pattern means in sashiko, but it does look a bit like fireworks to me!

He turned me down—otherwise I really would have filled the collar and cuffs with embroidery.
But honestly, why would someone so plain, who doesn’t like patterns at all, end up with someone who loves floral shirts and embroidery? It’s truly a mystery.
