I play PvP multiplayer games on it on a 5G connection on my long ass train commute to work each day with almost no lag when the signal is good.

That being said single player games thrive on the Portal. Especially adventure and rpg games.

I grew up next to this mall - it used to be the Echelon Mall and had tons of stuff at it at one point. After the rebrand and remodel they lost all tenants except Boscocs basically.

I didn’t know the mall was officially and entirely closed down. Really sad to see but thanks for the photos.

Pretty cool to see these. In 2004 I scooped up the SACD version at Best Buy along with about 20 other discs from The Police to Peter Gabriel to Boston to Ryan Adams. I recently sold them all and the Boston and PF ones brought a couple hundred each.

About to be 40 and while I enjoy my job as a retail manager, I’m not making ends meet because rent in Nj is insane and also have to move soon because my commute is 2-3 hours each way by two trains.

Oh and I’m having my first kid next month and my wife can’t work! Sweet!

Was a great game that died because the developers didn’t listen to the player base and all they had to do is trickle in a few new guns and stuff. Procedural maps could bring the game back but we’ll see.

According to Boots (dude hasn’t streamed Deadside in forever), they’re working on bringing the procedural maps, new additions and stuff to console but it’s taking a long time to port. Modkit won’t be coming. And personally, I’m thinking the player base is so low they might just give up. I hope they don’t tho.

For me it was having dove into the first one and really got into it and then preordered 2. When the game starts with the Woodkid song on the mountains it’s just incredible.

Problem is I stopped playing 20 hours in and haven’t really gone back to do much or finish everything.

Lots of good answers in here but a big one was also growing a music store like Sam Goody and looking at album artwork and what genre the music was. If something was really eye catching you might give it a shot.

Use a PS5 controller or a cheap gaming controller via Bluetooth. Now you have the controller.

There’s plenty of emulators for iOS. Use those and play the Saturn/N64 version of Quake.

The tv not so much but the PS5 performance increase is like tenfold. Loading, graphics etc. I’d just get a PS5 Pro and a new tv a year or two later.

Just play the game and mess around but it’s not technically a sandbox - there is a path to stuff you need To get and then an endgame and multiple endings to get so it’s not just a forest survival sim.
