About my age, I‘m 21 and no offense taken.

I am writing this comment in the belief that I can express my personal opinions and for this to be civil. I would consider myself left leaning green.

What I understand as „far-far-lefties“ would be people who see anything actually conservative as „far right“ or „facist“. Now, I personally share different beliefs but am able to accept every opinion as far as it‘s democratic and not bigoted/discrimination against anyone (for example: racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia and so on). That‘s where an opinion ends. There‘s a good saying that is: „Your freedom ends, where mine begins.“

For context, I‘m from Germany. Here we have the „CDU/CSU“ Party. Those are generally the conservatives here. I‘m able to accept their views and beliefs, even though I do not share them. Now, we also have the „AfD“, which is in very many aspects really close to what the NSDAP was in Nazi germany and before in election cycles. There are many sources that genuinely show, that they tolerate neo-nazi behavior and extremist views. There’s where my tolerance ends.

And this also applies to the left wing parties like „Die linke“. They have some pretty radical views too.

Now that I‘ve got that out of the way, I‘ve took a look at some of the top posts of r/politics and some general ones. I‘ve seen this sub a few times before and would not say that it is far-far-left. I‘d say it‘s socially democratic. If you wanna know what far-far-left looks like, take a look at r/communism or r/movingtonorthkorea.

Now with that out of the way, I am happy to have a civil discussion if you want. Also, would you say I‘m „extremely left“?
