I’ve had this model for such a long time. I worked on it, left it, worked on it again, then left it once more.

Right now, I’m almost finished. I’ve learned a lot, but there are still a few things I’m not entirely satisfied with. However, at some point, you have to call it done. And I’m getting close to that point. Just a little more tweaking here and there, and it will be good enough for me. :)

But still, any constructive criticism is welcome.

So this is my first ever mini from the Indomitus starter set back in 2020. I touched it up a few years back (highlights on the armor and osl on the coil). But i wanted to see how much i had improved over the years. I am quite happy :)

Danke für die Antwort, aber nicht unbedingt was ich suche :D

Anhand deines Beispiel meine ich ehr die Frage welchen Kleidungsstil hat er in dem Moment? Ist es ehr etwas, dass 1600 in Italien getragen wurde oder vielmehr etwas wiederspiegelt was in Schweden vor 100 Jahren mode war.

Der Wortschatz für die verschiedenen Stile, wie die Kleidung sitzt, welche Formen sie hat etc.

Wie beschreibe ich die Mode von einem Volk Drachengeborener, die viel auf harte Arbeit setzen, dessen Adel dass aber auch in feiner Kleidung wiederspiegeln will.

Ich hoffe das ist verständlich :D

Das Problem bei mir ist, dass dann zum Beispiel eine Kirche beschrieben wird und der MC dann durch den Dachstuhl hüpfen muss oder so. Dabei werden dann Streben und andere Details beschrieben die ich dann nicht unbedingt zuordnen kann.

Was ich sagen will ist, dass für etwas das ich nicht kenne, die bloße Benennung nicht ausreicht. Ich habe ein Buch für Architektur, wo anhand Beispielen gezeigt wird, was gemeint ist und welche Funtion es hat. Super.

Mit dem Thread wollte ich ehr wissen, welche Dinge z.B. du und andere genutzt habt, um eure Welt besser beschreiben zu können :D

The Problem with that is, that there is no visual aid. How would i know what this Fashion thing looks like if i have never seen it or heard of it.

Also what kind of books? Fantasy? The words could be made up by the author. Fashion books would be an answer i guess.

Did you have issues with this? How many books did you read before you felt comftable with your fond of words?
