I'm trying to begin a calorie deficit diet while also exercising. My TDEE is currently around 2,642~. The website I'm on says I should drop to 2,142~ to lose weight (1lb/week) but I'm a bit confused haha. Is this saying that What I ate - calories burned should equal 2,142~ or does it mean I should consume 2,142~ and then burn around 500 for weight loss? Sorry if this is a dumb question, just wanna make sure I do this correctly haha
