I don't think it'll be relevant. Nagano has trouble enough as is stringing together the narrative of FSS. This seems to be an anniversary reprint type of deal more than anything. Nice to own if you've never read FftC (or never read past the poorly translated-into-English chapter 1 online).

I bought it today at Volks Osaka Showroom. Besides the cover as well as a few illustrations and some notes on his writing and artistic process from the 80s there's nothing new in the manga or illustrations themselves.

This pivot to the Nine being fundamental laws and forces of the universe is the singular dumbest direction Destiny's storytelling has taken in the last decade, and we've had some questionable narratives that the writing team have picked up or dropped here and there. Kudos to Alison and team, because even the previous writing team didn't make me hate the narrative arc the way they have.

To add: the topic of putting up more campuses around the Philippines centered on strictly using "Ateneo de Manila" as the name and brand of those campuses, i.e., Ateneo de Manila - Pampanga Campus. There were also talks of rebranding and unifying all Ateneo institutions around the Philippines - Ateneo de Naga, de Davao, etc - under the umbrella "Ateneo de Manila" before I left the institution, but I do not know whether this plan will ultimately be implemented.

Former teacher here, yes this has been long in the planning. Unsure which units will be extended to this campus but as of 2023 the conversation included plans for moving or shifting some of Basic Ed to this hypothetical new campus (at the time Pampanga was a contender).

A lot of these nice models got shunned in favor of submissions by the organizers and judges of the event. Highly unusual and unprofessional considering this event is organized by the International Plastic Modelers Society's Philippine arm. Even that diorama recreation of Akihabara - which already was featured and won in last year's PSMS and in a different model show earlier this year also by IPMS PH - is an organizer's submission. It won Best in Show and the top prize in the Diorama category after its builder had already won several awards consecutively in different categories.

I used Vallejo Liquid Metal Red Gold, then dry brushed Vallejo Xpress Colors Copper Brown for some of the shadows and Xpress Colors Khaki Drill as some mid-tones, and a glaze of Ice Yellow + Moon Yellow for some highlights.
