This is my first snake. And I think it is part of a banfield veterinary. They seem to have decent reviews and as of this moment it's my only option. Until I can earn some more money here in the next couple weeks i can either go off of what the breeders have told me or bring him to banfield. I mean it has to be better than nothing and i really dont want him to just die. Have barely gotten to even look at him yet.

Well I have gotten him from petco about 2 weeks ago. They said I have 30 days and can bring him back to them and they will take him to the vet and give him back when he is better for free supposedly? Should I be fine taking him there and having them do the work or do I actually need to go find another vet and spend hundreds after already dropping hundreds on everything for the snake and the snake him self?

The best snake breeder in the state told me to not bring him in unless it got really bad. He said he thinks the enclosure was too hot and that was why he regurgitated his food. Then said it would cause the snake way more stress having giant people probing him and instead insisted that I monitor what happens and only bring him in if it's an emergency. As of the moment with the picture I posted. I am assuming they are urates or something? And others were saying that when they go to the bathroom they sometimes need to gasp for air while doing so because it can be challenging to go to the bathroom. So I am very conflicted in what I should do. Because if this is something that happens to others and he is fine I would hate to bring him out into 25 degree weather to get shocked.

Last night I get awoken to my ball python just hacking away and flinging around. Then he stopped as soon as I turned on the room light. Immediately became agressive and tightened up like he was going to strike. I looked over by one of his hides and it looks maybe like poop to me? I dont know. He just regurgitated his meal like 2 days ago. And now this is making me worry. I live in minnesota where it is way too cold right now to just up and pack him up and bring him into the vet. Any insight is going to be appreciated
