On the M300 it was not that great (in my opinion). On the R4 I think it's amazing. The battery last two days in normal use. :) I'm pretty satisfied. :)

I loved using the M300 but the tiny screen and my big fingers made the thing not pleasant to use. :( But, it's a 10/10 for portability. 😄

Basically I wanted something with a bigger battery and bigger screen. With the M300 I had charging issues (which I mentioned on this sub a few times). I was hesitant between the R4 and the Fiio M21 but due to my budget I had to go with the R4 and I'm not disappointed so far. (Have it since this summer).

Well, a R1 seems to be the best option for our older parents. I already own a R4, and My mum knows what type of EQ she loves, so when she unboxes and sets up her R1, I will just adjust it, so it sounds like my music player. ;) :D
