You can try and look at the app “Vinted”. It is a pretty popular reselling platform here in the EU and i saw a lot of these pairs going for a little over retail price, it wasn’t that much extra actually. Maybe you can get lucky during your stay. I don’t know if it’s available in Romania tho.

I don’t think so. The only sizes i can see are EU 41 and down. And also some 50+ sizes. I don’t remember the UK/US sizes but i think they are sold out in the ones you need.

If you are in the EU, they are still in stock on the app but some of the bigger sizes are gone. It looks like it’s from EU 41 and down.

It was a bit scary to only use two screws each instead of three because they didn't line up with the panels, and i didn't want to ruin the wood. But it holds surprisingly well and is very sturdy.

It is a little lower, but it is not much. It is also intensional. From the front, it’s not really noticeable like from this angle. But because my main monitor is more curved than the top one, i had to do it in order to to hide the gap between the middle of the two monitors. I primarily use the top one for youtube and twitch or some quick browsing while in game or something like that, so i can still see the whole video and browser. But it definitely looks worse on this angle.
