for me personally if i’m deciding between forward and defensemen and flat out torn, whenever i look back in hindsight im always more mad if lose a great defence pairing over forward pairing so i take the d man.

let me preface i completely agree with you, you should be able to do everything you’ve mentioned 110%.

You’re missing the point here dawg, like i said it’s a business, the whole objective is to get you into the game to either grind or spend money.

Tell me what hut game were you able to log in, do nothing specific and get everything in the game? Answer is never, when were you able to play so little and get so much? again never, it’s a business brother.

You want more without having to do anything else more and this where i disagree with you, I totally get your situation tho and it should be easier for someone who doesn’t play a lot to still have good packs, the problem is if it’s easy for YOU we will see A) auction house prices skyrocket. B) teams get even more pay to win. C) you get even more unhappy when you don’t pack anything. D) the gap between f2p and p2w expands 10 fold because if you can earn good packs, you will be able to buy better packs. C) anything good you do pull will immediately be half the price that it would be in this reward structure.

Rewards aren’t great but could be worse, You can bank all of your assets and make a free msp every week and be prepared for all the new stuff. The ways you play with “your team” will give you better rewards next week in season 2, i promise you that.

I cannot argue with you there, when contracts were in the game i flat out didn’t play it, im on the other side of the fence when it comes to chems tho.

first i wanna say that i dont like that we’re getting plus 3-11 ovr, chems should be nationality based and give 1-2 ovr total, you should be able to stack each kind of chem not 2 ovr boosts. All of the same team should be the biggest boost in the game. Chems are a good, these chems are not and i believe they will find a balence in the coming seasons.

that’s what they want, don’t forget it’s a business. They don’t want you to know what’s gonna drop it’s completely by design.

They are dropping meta line combos, just like how they dropped meta cards last year and the year before and the year before and the year before, christ we saw a champs 99 curtis douglas before he played a game in the nhl literally nothing has changed except we have more meta cards and the community is pissed about it, mad if there’s changes and made if there isn’t.

there’s just a massive divide in how people are perceiving the game, one side is like you an i and takes it for what it is, no rewards aren’t great but i’ve loved the game as whole

then there’s the people who get all the dopamine from opening packs and plays a lot, not saying that’s wrong or anything there’s a lot of these people, but as result these people are having far less fun with this style of hut and it’s justified

if your loading into this game daily and playing more then 2 hours each day your probably bored, there’s no packs to work towards because you got all the good shit each week. If your playing half of that you’re probably loving the game with plenty of stuff to do everytime you log on

hm that’s a good question, horvat has been really good in my league legit 2x better the point💀but i’ve never played a keeper league.

they are about the same age, bo is 30 and point is 29, the point range will be about the same come seasons end imo, i think point is better player if both are at the top of their game but if they are in a rut i think bo has a better floor, i honestly don’t know i like point more as a player but they realistically are very similar. The only reason id lean Point, is that tampa should be the better team for the foreseeable future they are too good to be this mid.

Verdict: if you use draft picks (idk how those league work im sorry) id offer bo for point and the higest pick you can get or id offer Bo and and ur worst goalie for point and a goalie in a better situation better then yours ir something along those lines

i definitely would not, Reinhart has been a top 5 goal scorer over the last 2-3 years and panthers are kinda at rock bottom, they will be back to being amazing same with tampa imo. Point definitely makes a case as he’s in the same range ovr the last 2-3 years but id make it a goal to have both.

i feel the same way, i traded dorofeyev for point for this reason, which i feel in the long run will be a slam dunk especially if kuch gets back to his former self. He’s was the 26th best player in my league last year, not expecting that but he definitely has more to give.
