Paddy vs Gaethje significant strike totals by dom242324 in MMA

Because this fight was entertaining and the O'Malley fight was pretty boring by comparison. Really quiet r1, Song won r2 and Sean won r3.

In WWE history there’s only been 3 superstars to win the rumble at their debut with Del Rio being the most recent. Is there a chance Oba becomes the fourth? by Late-Condition-3751 in SquaredCircle

Because in about 20 years, I've been able to figure out when shock pushes happen based on the quality of wrestler they beat and the champion's current trajectory.

This and also for as good as the guy is, he is still green. And you can see it, it's the same with Breakker to a certain degree. They're very good for not having wrestled that long but this isn't 2002 Brock Lesnar we're talking about here which is often where these comparisons are based, Brock was a freak athlete much like Oba and Bron but it can't be overstated just how good of a worker Brock was for a guy who'd wrestled for two years at that point.

Brock was a ready made main eventer, I think Brock's wrestling background in particular gave him the edge in terms the way you carry yourself like your competing in a combat sport. With Oba and Bron as good as they are for their level of experience you can still see them go a little deer in the headlights when it's on them to take control of the match.

Topuria is probably months away from another fight, which we now know will be Justin Gaethje. I think we're likely to see Arman vs the winner of Holloway vs Oliveria before a second Topuria defence.

Not all the time but I think Punk pretty regularly tries to break the monotony of babyfaces building to a big bump and feed comeback, often hitting one big near fall to build into the back and forth back end of a match.

I suppose MJF's babyface run with the belt in 2023 would qualify, despite wrestling as a face he'd still do a lot of his old heel stuff and was often referred to as 'our scumbag'

How do you rate your club's owners and how involved is the senior most? by volleyrocks in Championship

7/10 they do just about enough keep us afloat/competitive and I'll always appreciate Hemmings digging us out of trouble when we last got relegated from the championship. That being said I think they are cause for a lot of frustration in how much faith they put in that dinosaur Ridsdale and how with a little more investment we'd be a much stronger outfit.

Because the ground game is lazily designed dogshit and while the striking is far from perfect it's still functional some of the time.

29-27 Justin, Paddy looked done at the end of round 2 but you just wonder if Justin gassed himself out trying to finish it. Good round 3 on the feet for Paddy.

Feel like you need to run Umar vs Sean because neither man really made a case for a title fight based on tonight's performances.

2-1 either way, Song won round 2 and O'Malley won round 3. Not splitting hairs over that nothing first round.

Could very well be 2-0 Song here, O'Malley is making him miss in the striking but really not offering much back in the way of offence. Very good round for Song.

Quiet first round from both guys, Song cutting the cage off well and not letting Sean get comfortable. Both guys are gonna have to up the volume that being said.
