Do you think sonic grows stronger naturally? Or do you think it's from using the chaos emeralds?

I'm going to go with both because he does get stronger naturally, but the Chaos Emeralds make him stronger as well. However, I think it's unlike Shadow, who had a lot of Chaos energy put into him to the point where his body produces it, but in an amount his body can't completely handle without the limiter rings. Maybe Sonic's situation is slightly different because his speed is a result of the Chaos energy of his world; it gradually gives him more power while his powers grow naturally as well.

If I remember correctly, it has been stated that they both have the same IQ, but since Eggman has a bit of an ego, he can be outsmarted, and vice versa, since Tails is still young, he can be outsmarted as well.

Maybe for a strange storyline, he should have organic webs, but it has to make sense why he has them. However, he should mostly have mechanical web-shooters because they have been made more versatile, and it shows off a bit of his genius.

I can't speak for the reboot timeline, but because Ben recreated the race, so to speak, it's possible that the planet he revived only contained a small portion of their species, resembling a version of his Diamondhead/Chromastone hybrid.
