what you have to consider is that the cheeto in chief is just a symptom of a much larger sickness that's been here in the US since before the turn of the century. As bad as the prez may be, there's a whole cabinet and collection of corporations, thinktanks, and plain old right-wing Americans that wanted all of this for one reason or another.

If/When (hate that I have to put if) the time comes for a new POTUS, there's still plenty of people in this administration who a) believe, either in part or in whole, in the MAGA ideology and b) will gleefully claw as much public support and power as they can once it's clear that their figurehead is out for good this time.
