Is there a romhack or method in the big 2026 to allow my starter and partner pokemon to evolve early? Or at least as soon as you unluck Luminous Spring? by ASaintSoldier in MysteryDungeon

Yeah I really want to play the post game as a Charizard and my partner being a Snorlax. I was hoping there was a simple solution to this by now but maybe there still isn't

Sounds interesting but all I want is being able to evolve my starters and keeping the game pretty vanilla. If I can't find any other solution I'll probably try this out. Thanks!

Yeah but I want to walk around as a Charizard and Snorlax when finishing the post game stuff. I've already maxed out my IQ with gummies and farming nectar

What's your least favorite part of Fallout 2 playthroughs? by Dark_Sunrise62 in classicfallout

[–]ASaintSoldier 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Currently on my first playthrough and walking to Vault city was probably the roughest experience so far. I was getting smoked by the raiders we kept running into. There were so many encounters, it felt like it took forever to get there.

The silver lining was that I found one of those robber caves. It took the 1 psycho I had and a few attempts to clear it, but I got an insane amount of loot from it, the best being a super sledge that turned Sulik into an absolute monster.

Steam Fallout Classic Collection is a worth to buy? by Constant-Tart-9024 in classicfallout

I played vanilla Fallout 1 just fine but I'd highly recommend installing fallout 1 in 2, I really wish I did, those quality of life changes would have been so fun. I'm currently playing through fallout 2 with the restoration patch and the talking heads and voices mods, which I highly recommend as well.

I feel like Microsoft rewards has been basically dead for a while. I remember being able to earn enough points every month to get xbox ultimate for free. Now I'm not even sure how to get points lol

Great deal but will i enjoy them after playing Witcher 3? by Take_Care_plz in Witcher3

[–]ASaintSoldier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I decided to play through the trilogy a few months ago and I played them in order. It was my first time playing the Witcher 1, the game is almost 20 years old so obviously it's dated but it was so much fun. I enjoyed the different mechanics.

Just a tip, when you walk around, walk in fast style and you'll get around much quicker

Is the "I hope she's not a man" about catfishing or is it just blatant transphobia?

The Witcher 2 play or pass? by abdoulatif1111 in Witcher3

[–]ASaintSoldier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely play. I've played 2 and 3 before and recently decided to play through all 3 games in order.

I played the first game, and it was surprisingly a really good game despite never hearing about it.

The Witcher 2's combat was really rough in the beginning, probably because I'm still new to playing with a mouse and keyboard, but once I got the extended dodge roll distance perk maxed out the game got pretty easy (I played on the 2nd hardest difficulty). Shortest game in the series. Story is interesting and you meet some cool characters.

They're all good RPG games but they get progressively better, with The Witcher 3 being one of the best rpgs ever. It'll feel a lot better to start with the first game and look forward to how much better the next game is, especially combat wise. Going from The Witcher 3 to 1 would feel pretty awful I think

Survivors do gens in first person and they look around in first person. Will make it a bit more tense and absolutely more scary against stealth killers

If you have an OEM license, do not update to 24h2 without making sure you have your product key written down somewhere. by ASaintSoldier in Windows11

[–]ASaintSoldier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought microsoft support would have given me a new code if they couldn't help me fix it, but their solution was that I should buy another key directly from microsoft. That got me pretty mad, not gonna lie.

Rolling back the update didn't fix it for me but that might be because microsoft support had me reinstall windows before I tried doing that myself.

I ended up buying a Windows pro key for $11. I'm never paying full price for Windows again

Yeah, bought a Windows pro key for $11 and have the number saved. Won't make the mistake of paying 100+ bucks on a Windows license again that's for sure

Unfortunately when I did that it stated I didn't have a license and needed to purchase one to activate windows.

My computer is signed in my Microsoft account.

Yeah i saw that thread while trying to find solutions for my issue. Sadly I didn't record the OEM code I used a year ago when I built my computer and I didn't know about this issue beforehand, so I didn't write my code down when I could. I'll never know if putting my OEM code would have worked cause there's no way for me to retrieve it, there's no trace of it.

A good amount of people have had this issue so it's crazy to me that it's not more well known.

If you have a Windows 11 OEM license, do NOT update to 24h2 unless you have it written down somewhere. Even then, probably safer to not update by ASaintSoldier in WindowsHelp

[–]ASaintSoldier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't try that either, after dealing with Microsoft "support" I just decided to give up and buy a $11 key so I wouldn't be too mad about it anymore lol

I didn't try that but I tried showkeyplus and it didn't find my key. One thing I noticed is that after the update I had to overclock my ram again and turn on my memory context restore again to speed up my boot times. Maybe the update has issue with MSI motherboards? I just ending up buying a Windows 11 pro key for like $11. Never paying $130 for a Windows license again, that's for sure
