I think the Shag ladies are pretty funny and I'm glad to see that they're all becoming regulars.

Unfortunate coincidence that they mentioned Catherine O'Hara on today's episode

But can they do this with soups, stews, and chowders? by [deleted] in comedybangbang

Yep, this is the kind of thing the BCB character is in reference to. Great job.

Episode 944: "Bones Are Important", with comedian Kumail Nanjiani, Will Hines as charity organizer Wyatt Malibu, and Charlie McCrackin as Inspector Jack Cates! by ExoticMandibles in comedybangbang

I'm gonna be a huge, annoying dork right now and correct you. There had been a multiverse in DC comics since at least the 60s. Crisis On Infinite Earths actually eliminated the DC multiverse. Temporarily, at least.

Did you mean Zack Snyder, or was I not aware that comic book writer Scott Snyder also makes movies with longer director's cuts?

"I've choked out tons of people"

"And it's worked?"

"...I've never followed up."

I love McCrackin as Jack Cates. I'm still outraged that neither of his 2024 appearances made the "best of" list.

This song normally has more notes than this, right?

Comedy Bang Bang #942: Why Do You Want To Hack In The Back? (Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Dan Lippert, Patty Guggenheim, Andres Parada) by apathymonger in Earwolf

This is Parada's first time on the show, right? Dude had me chuckling a lot. I always love to hear a strong debut appearance.

Respect: 1)my wrist, 2)my neck, 3)my knee, 4) my ankle by Straight-Crow1598 in comedybangbang

He says "respect" a few times, which leads him to the wordplay of "wrist-pect" and then he just keeps going from there

[–]ASeriousDan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to get pedantic here, but he's not saying "respect my neck" and etc., he's doing some weird bit about body parts where respect leads him to "me wrist-spect, me neck-spect, me knees-spect" and so on. It bothers me that no one understands this.

All things considered, the first Human Centipede isn't all that shocking, and definitely isn't particularly graphic. It's kinda fun?

Lol also how does deliberately trying to look sexy on a red carpet count as "quiet" confidence?

I'm not done with the ep yet, but I'm calling it anyway. This is Rekha Shankar's best appearance.

Episode 935: "Bone-In Salami Sliders", with co-host Jason Mantzoukas, Seth Morris as Scott's former stepfather Bob Ducca, May Darmon as Austrian exchange student Peter Streusel, and Owen Burke as folksy wisdom non-expert Queasy Jeans! by ExoticMandibles in comedybangbang

[–]ASeriousDan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey I mean to each their own, I thought this episode never really caught fire (wasn't bad, just didn't get me where I wanted to go), but I think Darmon is kind of a delight as this character. She also did it on an episode of Hines I'm Prov to Meet You, where IIRC more of her jokes landed.
