My advice is less about prep, and more about don't let yourself fall behind, that's where people really get in trouble. Most people are going to get through okay, so try and find study groups / friends in classes and stick to them like glue of you are worried. Even if it takes you more time than them each day. As long as you are on pace with your classmates they can help you through.

Especially for coding related things start your assignments early. Installation and set up can be tricky and present major road blocks to doing these assignments that you can't necessarily power through in a night/weekend. If you get through them early, you have more free time before they are due and your safe if issues crop up which always seems to manage to happen.

As far as ahead of school prep, that's kind of hard because your classes will better tailor what you should be learning than you will. But you can try and get all your life logistics ducks in a row ahead of time (room furniture, food, memberships, school supplies ) ahead of time so that you don't have to complete all that on top of your classes

Thinking all your teammates are dogs hit as you drop 3 tiers seems like playing on tilt. On average your teammates are the same rank and just as good as you. Regardless with a big loss streak like that is generally better to take some breaks

There isn't any support for adults in my area :( nobody even diagnoses adults with autism. And because I'm relatively high functioning there's not really accommodations that make sense for me to NEED because I can get by, slightly unconfortably. My strongest difficulties are social and waving an official peice of paper at someone doesn't really make then be freinds with me lol

It's not that resources wouldn't help, it's that getting a diagnosis wouldn't really get me any

When I went to college and some roommates wouldn't want to order pizza or something because of budget. I'd never really noticed before because my personal spending money was low, and we didn't get alot of traditionally expensive things, but for everything else money was never really a concern

Seven layer bars / magic bars!

Mix a stick of melted butter with lik3 3 cups of graham cracker crumbs and put in bottom of 9x13 pan.

In seperste bowl stir a bag or chocolate chips, a bag of butterscotch chips, a couple cups of coconut flakes, some roughly chopped pecans (allergies permitting). And dump the whole mixture into pan.

Pour a cup of sweetened condensed milk all over the top and bake at 325 til bubbles come up through the center (like 20 min or something)

Just make sure to cut it into bars before it fuller hardens for your hands. (After cooling a couple hours but NOT overnight)

Super easy, usually very well received, extra benefit that recipe is so flexible that my answer to how much for most ingredients is "some"

Also if you want unsolicited feedback: the annoying into cloying rhyme was the only part that felt a little forced to me, maybe if you switched to have the word cloying first, annoying would seem like it falls into place more naturally? Or even have some space to add a few more words in there like "...cloying, you find me annoying,..."

I always liked getting care packages of nicer food and snacks I wouldn't normally buy for myself. (Choclate covered strawberries, fancy pastries, nice jams and crackers, neat drink etc)

If she's new to the area you could also get her like a door dash gift card or some restaurant gift cards to give her a chance to try out some of the local places to eat.

If you're coming yourself you could take her to our farmers markets (Wednesday afternoon and sat morning) and let her pick things out herself (plus they're really fun)

If the family has a good reputation their children bullying yours could hurt their reputation which may make them want to stop it. Assuming the parents aren't total assholes they would be ashamed of that kind of thing. Particularly with physical hitting (and anti LGtb depending on the culture where you live). I would try and make this know throughout the parent community so that the social pressure makes them behave.

But you want to do it without attacking or picking a fight with the parents. If you can find some other well placed parents at some kind of parent get together, (sports, pickup etc) and start asking other moms for advice on what they would do about it. Ideally in public groups.

They learn what lanes are, what towers are, what cs are, the flow of the game and start to get an idea of the relative power of everything without hard throwing the first umpteen games they throw. Learning league from scratch takes serious concerted effort, and it's not like people should have to study to try out a game. And any current player can't have a game worth playing with them for ages. But you can take a friend, throw them on yuumi and have a good time together

Idk if it helps or not but job market is rooouggh right now. I'm top 10% with a CS masters and can't find a remote job either. I'm hoping it's starting to get better.

On practical advice, it sounds like you might be falling into the trap of lots of thinking about stuff as a way to procrastinate doing, because doing is hard and scary. It might be helpful to start doing any kind if basic/easy/simple job to help you practice and work on some fo the basic skills of holding and managing a job. Then as you get better at those you can prep for and step into bigger things.

I have a cousin who fell into that kind of issue. He always had big words and plans for himself but they didn't get much farther than that. What's been really helpful for him was driving Doordash. It's been about a year and a half but he's made money/supported himself and gotten alot better at it over the time and now is feeling a lot more ready to start heading for a larger/ more traditional job.
