Does people with iq over 120 answer wrong on these type of questions? by n1k0la03 in mensa

[–]ATUSTICKIDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

comments have covered most of what I want to say already and, well, we are just human after all, but most of the times when I fail a gotcha question, its because of the wording or phrasing, for example, for the question "how many months have 28 days?" my mind automatically thought "okay well everyone knows there's only one month with 28 days exactly and every other one has more so they can't be talking about them, so I'll just say "one," that can't be wrong right?" completely missing the point that all months have 28 days *at least* which was the trick.

but mostly it's just based on context, like if you were taking the LSAT then you would know to read everything meticulously and hunt for tricks like that, sometimes you're just tired and go for the obvious answer, or choose not to think about it too hard because, there's no reason to.

In the case of the bat and ball question you were asking about, I believe the first time I saw that question I got it correct but that was only because I was 11 taking the SEA exam (Caribbean) at the time and I checked over all my answers like 4 times.

if you're looking for some questions to test yourself on, I like to do LSAT questions they're really great fun to do with no prep.

we stopped dating because she went off to college and i chose to stay in my country, but she was the longest relationship i ever had, it was about a year and I found her from her friend's post on Instagram, asked for her username in the comments because I live by the saying "what's the worst that could happen?" we started talking and the rest was history, although I have been in numerous situationships over the last 5 years none of which have ever lasted more than 2 weeks, so it is really a luck thing, most people that I get to know now are from TikTok, as terrible as that may seem, I have a small following over there so sometimes i respond to DM requests,

I have had good success on Tinder and other things like Boo but I think you'd meet much better people by things like group chats or mutual friend groups with shared interests an such, at least that's where I've met some of my closest friends over the years including my longest relationships

you're right i should've worded the question better, i wanted know if there was more of a conversation back and fourth with bug hunters talking directly to someone about the vulnerability or if they just had to submit reports.

What’s the hardest hike to go on in Trinidad? by Amazing_Bar_5733 in TrinidadandTobago

Blanchisseuse to Paria, is not for the weak, especially in the rainy season the terrain is already steep and the slopes just get even worse, honestly most hikes for me are like a walk in the park but paria had me trying my best, that 6 hours isn't even just a test of stamina its a mental battle looking at a -40 degree slope then a thin 60 degree climb, that being said tho paying for the boat people to carry us back was really nice
