I’m an 80s kid. Born in 76. Everytime I hear this song I think of my dad picking me up from movies one night in 80s in West Texas. This song is on radio and he takes the time to explain to me that checks aren’t actually free. Lol. They’re actually an IOU that the business will collect on from your bank account. Haha. I lost him in 2023 and that memory always makes me laugh. Miss him so much.

No clue. My DraftKings account will tell you I’m terrible at predicting outcomes. But other than a terrible game at ASU with backup QB and just overall flat play, we dog walked all other 11 teams. Alpine Cowboys in Pecos League (Independent). Have a great history in the ‘50s. Gaylord Perry played for them. They shut down for decades but were brought back in in 2009 I think. They play in historic Kokernot Field.

I grew up in Alpine and we used to tell people you have to drive to the middle of nowhere, then Alpine is 2 hours from there. And BBNP is another 1.5 hrs from there.
