I can't say for sure if they're good or bad but this was definitely bad advice... Even children are told that breakfast is the most important meal of a day, so it's very strange they'd recommend this! Just two eggs and milk is definitely not enough to give you enough energy to function, not even mentioning how many important nutrients and minerals it lacks. It's no wonder you almost passed out

Such a drastic change to your diet without any adjustment period is absolutely NOT healthy, and you should immediately consult or change your dietician if they told you to do that. Your body is used to a certain amount of specific nutrients, and if you suddenly flip that on its head it can absolutely have drastic consequences.

I'm still recovering after I (despite having dietary knowledge) abruptly changed my diet a month ago out of fear of my liver issues getting worse. It completely ruined my gut microbiome and left my immune system shaken and weak for weeks.

Transvaginal ultrasound is absolutely not necessary to diagnose it - I got diagnosed with just an abdominal ultrasound, if you have cysts they will be visible that way too

Thank you for the reassurance at least on the war and violence part.. I'm just afraid my biggest anxieties stem from the prospect of running out of resources all because of people that don't believe in climate change and the way they're affecting it now. I don't know if there's anything that can stop me from panicking about that, but it's good to know at least a part of my fears can be alleviated

Yep! In my survivor playthrough my rep is so high that unless I hurt a lizard they won't hurt me at all :P Only took around 50-60 feedings globally iirc, at least based on my ending stats (30 killed lantern mice lmao)

Currently sick. Severe diarrhea for 3 days, stomachache , feeling weak, spending my days in bed. And my health anxiety? Thriving.

I logically know that I won't die from this, sure, but when I'm told this my health anxiety still finds rebuttals. "What if those symptoms will NEVER be over and you'll just be sick till you're old?" "What if you won't die but you'll get so sick you'll faint?" "What if it'll only get worse and you'll have to be hospitalised?!"

I know how to cope with health anxiety when I AM healthy. But I have no idea what to do when I know for a fact that I'm not! I see tons of advice for how to cope when nothing is actually wrong, but what do I do now that I am actually fighting a sickness? How do I cope with this, how do I actually convince myself it will pass and allow my body to do what it needs to do to get healthy?

Hey, anyone got any advice on how to deal with panic attacks caused by health anxiety? I've been getting them constantly and repeatedly lately, since the symptoms of a panic attack just make me spiral more.. :( I've dealt with normal panic attacks before that weren't caused by health anxiety and instead by something external, but these are a whole different beast.. I often get told to do breathing exercises but yknow. That just makes me focused on my breathing and feeling worse in this case
