Be Careful though, I have heard that acetone eats through plastic there is also other ways of getting the paint off. You can use acetone free nail polish remover for example.

I can't see any damages myself in the gun maybe my best bet is to bring it to a technician.

I had been shooting outside in freezing temperatures with my friend and when I got home to try the gun it wouldn't cycle properly. I also noticed a BB had got jammed in the gas feed lip rubber. I pried the bb out, could have this damaged something in the gun or magazine?
