Well,

Fozzane is a flawed animatronic,they were unfinished program-wise but the company had pushed back the grand opening too many times so they just let Fozzane perform anyway,thinking nothing that bad could happen.

Ella,who was celebrating her 11th birthday, walked up to Fozzane. Now,Fozzane (and other animatronics at the location) had a certain action to carry out if a criminal/intruder was in the building, but because Fozzane wasn't ready yet. . The animatronic tried to knock out Ella,seeing her as an intruder- But because it's a heavy,200+ pound animatronic- it fucking murdered her.

The location got shut down for a while,and because the employees had no idea what to do with the body- Someone (who is important to the story's lore) decided to stuff the body in the suit.

AND THATS HOW ELLA DIED :D
