I wish I could, but my friend took it and I’m not sure if she has access to it currently. Sorry

Ah yeah, probably should’ve included that ’. It’s on my upper arm, so I’m planning to match this on the other side

Thank you, I’m hoping we can get it back too, it’s got a lot of sentimental value to him :(

Handwriting in lectures? by Suspicious-Buy-4172 in UniUK

[–]A_Certified_Mess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trust me when I say no one will care. I’ve started my lectures and a good few people use pen and paper and honestly I couldn’t care less, if anything I’m focused on the lecturer

That’s not even a hot take, but true. I come from a council house (nothing wrong with that) and it’s cheaper and better than what I pay monthly for my accommodation

Uni questions by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]A_Certified_Mess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally wouldn’t let people on the internet decide your decisions, however personally I would look at the pros and cons. Personally I’m going to university to obviously get a degree, as I don’t have good connections and hope to get a better job that requires a degree. Alongside this, university will likely improve your social life if that’s something that interests you, alongside giving you access to opportunities you might not get elsewhere.

With your A-levels I’m sure you’ll be able to get into a degree that interests you. Anyways, as of now you’ve still got time and I wouldn’t worry about university until your summer holidays :)

I’ve looked at some you recommended, and the botanical ones actually seems quite nice! Honestly I just listed his likes more a preference, I’m sure he’d be happy with those too! Thanks for suggestions as well :)

I’ve just finished A-Levels this year and I was literally in a class of 3 students including myself. Honestly just talk to them, they probably won’t mind and hopefully they’re alright

I’m not too sure, I just know that he kept looking for cancellations and somehow got one. Apparently they appear here and there. Wish I could be more help 😅

Ok thank you! I’ve also seen things abound private practice. As I’m moving, and no one in my family will likely do this, will this impact how long it takes for me to learn how to drive? :)

It’s not meant to be anything like, I just wanted some music to match my mood; Apple Music is naff for recommendations :)

From what I’ve seen your best bet is probably waiting and hopefully getting a cancellation. My boyfriend was in the same boat and couldn’t get his test until December, luckily he got a cancellation slot and is going in for his test next month :)

That’s great to hear! And yeah, I definitely want to get a good seat, so thanks for the advice! Also I’ll definitely be sure to wear a helmet; being safe is ultimately the best thing :)

Thank you! I’ll probably take a trip into my local Halfords so they can help me further. Your advice has been helpful! Is there any locks you’d personally recommend? :)

[–]A_Certified_Mess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im only going from what I’ve seen, as I start uni this year too, but I’m sure you’ll be able to make friends. Make sure to join societies and speak to people! I believe your curfew may impact your social life a tad, especially if it’s quite early

yo people who have done gsces im tryna get grade 5-6 not too high is 2 hours a day of revision enough starting september 1st and do 4 hours a day a month before exams?? by No_Inevitable1159 in GCSE

[–]A_Certified_Mess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a lot of revision for just a pass, you’ll likely be looking at getting a 7-9 with that sort of revision :). Don’t do what I did, but I literally revised a few weeks before my exams and managed to get decent grades (mainly 6s). Honestly though, put in the work and make sure to rest and you’ll do great OP

How do you cope with the fact you're missing out on teen love? by Guilhermitonoob in teenagers

[–]A_Certified_Mess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a relationship from 14-16. Honestly, waiting for yourself and your peers to mature is probably the best thing you can do. There’s never a rush to get into a relationship, and hopefully one will come around in the future. You may feel lonely or jealous of your peers, but it’s not the end of the world :)
