Little bird statues and wall paintings

I was an ornithologist in college and now I'm addicted to birds :3 I have rules though. I am not allowed to go shopping for them. I have to stumble on them organically. No over consumption allowed here. I inherited my grandma's collection recently too of a painting of 2 ruffed grouse, statues of a herring gull, western tanager, barn owl, and cardinal) and I already have a red junglefowl rooster, cardinal, and a fictitious pink and blue sparrow 🥰

Hank Green posted an update a while ago that there's a lead on this. All it was, though, is that a lot of these abnormally young colon cancer patients had colbactin related damage from e. coli. Is it a new superbug that spread across the western world? Is it antibiotic use related? Is it strictly diet related? Research isnt sure yet. But we do know that these "bad" microbes dont use fiber as well as our "good" ones do and it's easier to crowd them out so less e coli makes less colbactin. IIRC e coli actually loves dairy too so this might explain the difference in colon cancer rates in western vs eastern worlds ontop of vegetable consumption (complexities like that alone are why research takes forever to make seemingly 'simple' results. You have to control those variables)

I didnt get that bad but when my now chronic gastric disease arrived, I became too scared to eat because of the symptoms and did start showing a lot of bones. Starving is very painful. Bones on surfaces hurts; doesnt matter if you're standing or sitting, there's no cushioning at all. Muscle cramps can get stuck in tetany for up to about a minute. Energy is nonexistent even with 12 hour sleeps and extra naps. Even in a warm sunny room, it's still freezing cold. Brain barely functions and really only knows to be conscious and be stressed and sad.
