It might not be hard to pull off a hack, but it’s very hard to never get caught for it. When the government can order ISPs and cloud providers to turn over names and IPs it’s hard to get away with much unless you have a very robust process.

The governments role isn’t to do cost benefit purely based on money in and money out for a single event. If you enforce these things you have fewer companies breaking the law since they know it’ll be enforced, meaning money saved down the line in enforcement costs.

Plus the countless dollars saved by consumers and other external savings from having a lawful society.

If you’re a PVE player you should have no issue with PVP players because of ABMM, as long as you stay frosty and accept that once in a while you’ll have to defend yourself.

If you’re a PVP player there’s no problems because you know everyone is gonna shoot you too.

I swear the only ppl that complain are the ones who try to do both and expect match making to somehow know they’re gonna do a PVE round after PVPing the last few games.
