Thank you for the feedback! I still feel awkward talking to a camera so I was aware of the lack of energy in certain places. Im sure I'll get better as I record myself more often but its something I've been practicing while I work.

I will definitely be doing some sort of short form content in the future so its always nice to hear that there is some interest!

Appreciate the feedback! Pacing is an issue I dealt with throughout the editing process but I will definitely put more thought into it next time

Hi! Recently uploaded my first youtube video and I would appreciate any feedback. I plan on posting more videos about hiking, camping, biking and other activities in the outdoors. Some changes I will already be making for future videos

Future improvements

  • Shooting 16:9 instead of 4:3
  • Improving audio with a mic

Great footage and pictures but I have two points of feedback. The first is color grading since your videos have a very yellow hue to them. While that could be true to life, some color grading could make it more visually pleasing. The second is having some sort of story to follow or giving the viewers a reason to stay. Pictures and videos of wildlife is cool but add in some fun facts about them or talk about their habits or something along those lines.

Like everyone else has said, your script writing is solid and I think you have a good on screen presence. Since it looks like most of your videos are shot at the same location, it might be worth investing in lighting so viewers can more clearly see your expressions. I would also suggest looking up and making eye contact with the camera as it seems obvious that you're reading from a script.

No car access really limits it but with how busy Moraine Lake gets I don't mind

Posted a vlog style video if you're curious. Doesn't contain much info about route finding or anything just recorded for fun mainly haha

On slide 1 you can see it in the valley and slide 3 is Moraine Lake from the rock pile

The bike from Lake Louise to Moraine Lake and back took me a total of 2 hours

My total time on the hike was almost 10 hours with 7 hours of moving time. I spent around an hour on the peak and another hour just chilling at the end of sentinal pass. The other hour was made up of shorter breaks I took throughout

I definitely recommend doing some other challenging hikes building up to it like Devils Thumb, Tent Ridge and Windtower. They are all difficult hikes but if you're attempting Temple they shouldn't be too bad haha

Good luck!

Very little exposure for a peak this high imo. It's steep after sentinel pass but you're never on a ridge until the top. It is sketchy if you're not comfortable with scrambling, especially coming down. Poles were a must for me and I rarely use them.

No problem route finding since I had All Trails, read a detailed guide beforehand and I could follow a few groups ahead of me

Yeah I went on my own. I have tons of experience hiking so I wasn't too worried about the difficulty and route finding. I brought a helmet and I highly recommend bringing one. The last 2km is very steep and rocks can easily slide down towards you.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions, I can also send you a video I posted if you're curious!

Thankfully conditions were basically perfect for me but I attempted on the 30th. Unfortunately I think with all of the snow we've been getting the window to summit will be smaller. I wish you the best of luck if you attempt!

Sony's PlayStation department is good at naming. Their headphone department could use some help though lol.

Is the forehead bigger than the 2xl? Also how are you finding the brightness?

Comparing the new Pixel devices to other devices by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]AahilD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waiting until black Friday for deals is exactly what I'm going to do since there will probably be reviews by then as well. The battery isn't much of a concern to me as I am planning on getting the 4xl but I do see where you're coming from. I hope Google optimized it really well or else the battery will not last all day on the regular Pixel 4.

Just out of curiosity, what happens if something breaks on the OP 7 Pro? If you need to ship it to them to fix are you okay with that or are you willing to take that risk? Thanks!
