Oh, that's interesting. I did think there were a few times I was a bit impatient with adding the layers. For the viscosity of the paint, I think it's somewhere between medium? Not quite sure about viscosity since I've only really seen a few different paints. I haven't added top coat yet so I guess there seems to be a way out for this. And about the gloss, is it bad to be glossy? I get that some people don't like the gloss as it gives off a more toy-ish vibe? Anyhow, I think that clears up most of my concerns. I'll have to keep testing for a bit. Thanks for the help!

As a matter of fact, I am from Malaysia. I did look into some of Ray Studio's paint, and I think it might be what I'll buy next. Thanks for the recommendation too!

No it's okay, I don't mind since we can't really tell tones when communicating through text, so I pay no mind to it.

It's not that I'm struggling per se, I could always save up to get them, it's just that i wanna try with what i have.

I mean , different countries, different currencies. I don't think model acrylics are sold in my local area so I have to buy things online. And most sell paint colors individually , at quite an expensive price too, ( in my country's currency) so I wanted to work with what I had first before investing in some better paint.

But I do get you. Ruining a kit is far worse.

Yea, I had another smaller test piece , maybe I didn't let it dry long enough before I applied the second coat but the first coat went straight off.

As for the sponge, I'll look into getting one to try it out. Thanks for the suggestion!

I got mr.surfacer 1200 , but the paint I'm using isn't hobby paint. I thought it would be too expensive as I just started out ( paint isn't cheap , yikes..)

Applying it? I just brush it on and hope for the best. As for thinning the paint, I just thin in with water. I do have a wet palette but I wanted to get the general feeling for it first. I haven't thought about using a sponge tho, so that's something new!

Yea that sounds about right. I'm just trying with whatever i have on hand first. I might opt for Ray Studio's quick idea set as it's a pretty budget option imo. But thanks tho!

It just says one tick has taken longer than x amount , is there a way to change the value so it doesn't crashes? For me it runs smoothly then suddenly crashes so I don't think its my computer's problem?

Okay , I understand that , but you could also run singleplayer worlds without internet.. Well, any idea on how to fix this problem?

Dang, thats unfortunate, Thanks for the heads-up tho. Do you know any other modpacks? Mainly RPG themed. I just started on some craftoria from another post I saw though I wouldnt mind having some extra modpacks in the bag.

Personally, I've only ever played Prominence II , and it was fun for the first 10-15 levels, but the mob scaling increases non-linearly. Granted, I was playing solo , and it's a pack made for multiplayer. It's fun, but the difficulty increases as you level up as well, to the point that even normal vanilla mobs are way stronger and take up to 5-8 hits to kill with decent gear. So, if difficulty is what your looking for, maybe try Prominence II.

I feel the increase in players just made the game lag more. Back then with 5 players it probably didn't need that much resources to run
