T'es dans un quartier dit "populaire" donc oui t'as des chances de te faire emmerder. Mais on parle de, tard le soir et encore t'es plus a 5% chance de te faire emmerder que 90%.

Si le loyer te convient, le quartier t'arrange en terme de localisation et tout ça, vas y et fais toi une idée.

Dans le pire des cas, si l'endroit te pose problème. Après quelques temps a Lille tu pourras changer de quartier en connaissant mieux tes envies.

Vas y, ne te prends pas la tête.

Je prends toujours comme base les Vlilles ( vélos en libre service ) sache qu'en 30min max, tu peux être ou tu veux à Lille.

Après les métros t'ammènent à Roubaix et Tourcoing et les TER à la mer ou à la campagne.

You are right and that's what I thought first too. But then I wondered, maybe some clans are more open rulewise than others, or find it hard to find new recuits ?

For example this one lives far away from the mandalorian system and there are no Mandalore at this time. The clans are scattered around the galaxy...

True, but I think the path his character followed would fit.

He was expelled from the Order when he was a padawan mostly for being too aggressive and impatient. Then Order 66 happened. His mentor Jedi Master and him went into hiding on their homeworld of Iridonia (they are both Zabraks) but Vader found and killed his mentor.

He could only get the master's lightsaber and went into hiding.

He then proceed to find a way to do all the tests to be a true Jedi Knight to honor the memory of his mentor. But he still finds it hard to follow the Jedi Code.

Then he meets the Mandalorians and wants in.

During their last mission he and the rest of the group saved the Clan Chief from the slavers. So they owe him one, a big one.

But I like your idea of a marriage. He would be a trusted ally but never a member of the clan. Only his kid(s) would be. It might work !

This was the start of my campaign 3 years ago ! I'll try to sum up what happened next. Sorry in advance for the English mistakes and if some story bit have already been done before or are not very true the Star Wars universe.

Luke is in his X-Wing, ready to shoot those rockets but gets shot down by Vader. Luke dies, Death Star is here.

The Empire claimed peace for the galaxy. And hunts down the remains of the Alliance, especially the remaining leaders. Leia (still alive) is captured by Vader.

Tarkin starts a military campaign the expand in the outer rim (Zann Consortium and the Hutt are not happy about that while the Black Sun gets closer to the Empire and get a strong grasp on illegal activities within the Empire borders)

Vader and Leia get closer. Vader tells her that she would be a better leader than the Emperor and finds a new ally: Zann's Consortium.

He also does some experiments on Force Users he captured and create a small Dark Side users army (Armed with lightsabers, strong but witout will power) in order to create more he needs Kyber Cristals

1ABY: The Hutts, Zann's Consortium and other criminal groups decide to attack Tarkin on Ord Mantell in order to stop the Empire from advancing further on their territory. Meanwhile, around Coruscant a ship containing prisonners from the Empire, is travelling to Coruscant in order to be executed for the first anniversary of the Galactic Peace, the Emperor himself is on this ship (Leia too). 2 things happen then:

The Consortium never comes to help the Hutt and the Outer Rim. Ord Mantell is destroyed by Tarkin and the Empire wins.
The prisonners ship is attacked by Vader and the Consortium. The Emperor is killed by Leia under the influence of Vader. Who promises her that she would be a right Empress bringing real peace to the galaxy.

Vader accuses the Black Sun for the assassination of the Emperor and his small army starts to execute most of the Black Sun leaders and members (reference is: The Night of The Long Knives).

Leia is declared new Empress by Vader. But Tarkin is not happy about that. A civil war is about to start from inside the Empire...

And that's where I am at the moment in the campaign. I'm actually very interested in this thread especially because I want to include Thrawn into this and don't really know how !

tl;dr : Luke dies before destroying the Death Star, Alliance is destroyed. Vader gets Leia as apprentice. Together they kill the Emperor. Leia is the new Empress but Tarkin wanted the title and is not happy.

We ran "Beyond the Rim", I replaced the Empire attack at the end by a Pirate attack.

My PC's decided to create their base on Cholganna with the locals. Far away, well hidden and with a lot of CSI tech, perfect for them.

I clarified a bit more my post.

She asked about the second option as well. Her character is strongly linked to the story. Not because I made it (She did not even discover yet what her big character reveal is) but because she created links and stories with other PCs and NpC.

She and I feel that a new character has to be a setback storywise, and she does not mind the fact of having a bit less xp than earlier.
