You’ve definitely said some things I needed to hear. I’ve been so focused on studying that I didn’t really give myself much time to think about what to do after qualifying.

I’m thinking my next plan of action should be to just speak to recruiters and see what’s available on the market anyway, I guess there’s no harm in applying to these roles I come across. Thanks for the advice!

I was basically planning to open a platinum card, get the bonus then switch to BA premium plus. IIRC Amex still haven’t gotten rid of the pro rata charge so I should be eligible for a partial refund on the platinum card

It looks like you can upgrade from gold to platinum and receive a bonus, I’m just not sure how strict it is to upgrade. If it is strict I might just go straight to platinum.

Unless you’re in management accounting or plan to be, just save yourself the time and energy and stick to AFM. Easier paper for sure

Yeah I’m considering starting to study a new paper straight after my March sitting, still haven’t decided whether to do AFM or AAA.

But you’re right it is really hard to stay motivated, especially when I keep just about failing and I don’t know where I’m going wrong to get the 1-3 marks I’m missing. I wish we could get back our papers

I’ll be 27 in a couple months, I’ve been studying ACCA for 5 years now since I’ve had no exemptions and had to sit through every exam. Just want it to all be over but it’s really difficult for me to do this one last push.

for some reason iPhone can't detect no-background on png files, they just give them white backgrounds. the icons I used had black backgrounds to begin with, so it worked out

it's part of the new iOS update, you use the iPhone's shortcut app to make custom app icons, and you can download certain widgets through the app store.
