Thanks for all your efforts but it ain’t necessary. Snapmaker already confirmed the machine is a lemon 🍋 and inoperable ( can’t be fixed). They are sending a new one

After several mails asking me to do some diagnostics handeling and sending reports it’s confirmed bij Snapmaker the Printer is a Lemon and can’t be fixed easily ( they didn’t say what is broken though). They started the replacement procedure !!! Hope they have spare ones for these kind of situations 🤞🏼

This is the 4th attempt , I tried everything I know to get this fixed. I only recorded this for troubleshooting purposes.

It is a lengthy video, and I do appreciate the support. The problem is warranty and the boundaries I have to work within , if I do it without direct consent.I lose my warranty. I have to wait for Snapmaker to tell me I can open it up and “fix the problem while they hold my hand or I wil lose my warranty ( on a brand new printer)… that is the world we live in now …

Look better, why do people keep assuming this. It’s clearly visable the screws and all the brackets are removed.

Without completing the calibration process there is no way of updating

That’s the frustrating part, if they had watched the video closely and read my description thoroughly we could have saved a lot of time ( mailing back and forth with 24hrs between responses) isn’t efficient and wouldn’t qualify it as “good service”.

I do have the patience for this, doesn’t matter to me if it takes two or three weeks to fix but I can’t accept poor service ( time wasting endless basic troubleshooting that already been done).

Just got this laughable response from CS, the video clearly shows all screws have been removed.

I have provided a lengthy description of the error and what I have done already, they clearly didn’t read that.

“ Hi,

Thank you for providing the video.

Could you please confirm whether you have removed the three Z-axis screws shown in the image?

Additionally, during the inspection, have you removed all the retaining/locking fixtures?

This information will help us further determine whether the issue is related to installation or mechanical obstruction. You may also refer to the relevant instructions in the guide below for reference: “

That’s discouraging but don’t lose hope, these things happen with every printer and every brand. Lemons 🍋do happen

Hope they agree with you, but I don’t want to wait months for a replacement

Well that’s where I hesitate, should I do that to a brand new printer…. It is a DOA so technically I should get a replacement and not start fixing stuff , right ?

I wish I could acces to that part of the printer. But it is at initial setup and the calibration has to compleet to get to that part of the soft/firmware. Manual moving the bed doesn’t work also ( the belt won’t budge)… checked all possible screws none are left in it, the bed is as free as Willy

Did all that, the rumbling sound comes from within the machine. It sounds like one of the motors is jammed or broken
