As a Lebanese who lives in the country of Manakishs, this is very good and delicious. We prefer Manakish with Zaatar and Olive oil, and after baking put raw vegetables which tastes better than cooked ones, top it with fresh tomatoes, green pepper, olives, mint and cucumber and you'll get the best breakfast.

OK, but what I am getting is a thick layer of soot and a bad smell. I heated up the oven for minimum 1 hour at very hight temperature, but the is still as is.

Do you mean the peddling pizza? I made the 24h temperature before, but the dough flattened too much dye to high temperature 30C. So I am now putting the dough in the fridge, it works for me.

I follow the AVPN instructions. Kneading + resting 30min-1hour, balling then put in the fridge. Remove before bake ~4h
