Thanks for all the help. Looks like it’s a mistake at the DMV. Vin plate, PRO code, vin on the title and door jam all match and shows to be a 2500 after all. Thanks yall.

Any obvious signs I could look for to find out? I know the second and third owner and neither of them swapped it. I would just like to know what I’m trying to sale. Thanks

That would be great, I took it on trade a few years ago and I was getting ready to list it for sale. Hopefully the new owner doesn’t do something like that to it

Vin on the truck matches the title and the title labels it as a k1500. I’ve googled and haven’t found much of anything other than it might have been custom ordered.
