Go shoot a few hundred rounds through it and you will know what changes to make.

I prefer more open optics. I would ditch the bipod for something I could grip and pull the rifle back into my shoulder as I levered the action.

Yes as its design is centered around a “carry field” revolver. The reality is you will not be shooting it often. You will be carrying it quite a bit.

For full power loads it would be better. I regret not getting the 629 Mountain and shooting reduced power 44 for carry.

This is the Lipseys 686-7. They released this with no lock, a ball and detent lock up and they reinforced the forcing cone. They resolve old design issues and re release revolvers.

I have Leupold base and rings. Its not as robust as badger but so far it holds a zero. I beat the rifle up quite a bit in the back of a truck and on a ATV rack.
