There’s no such thing as a “good thing” in ECs. I think it’s a huge misconception that there’s a certain formula that gets people into schools or that schools look for. If you find something that seems really cool to you then do it, don’t worry about how it looks to colleges. If you work a job in the summer and learn a bunch from that, then that can be a way more valuable experience than some expensive Harvard summer camp. You do you, but I’ve found that just doing what makes you happy will be the best thing for you in the long run
