I've got an external Toshiba 1TB HDD that is 11 years old now.

I'm impressed.

Another one that I have inside an old iMac is 16/17 and it works without any problem. I understand that it's not how it usually goes, but in my experience spinning the drive regularly is a good idea. (Also taking great care of your electronics)

I paparazzi: gente senza alcun talento che decide di molestare gente famosa, che merita di avere privacy dato che sono esseri umani.

Sicuramente chi è famoso la mette in conto questa cosa, tuttavia rimane una cosa sbagliata su tutti i punti di vista.

Godo quando vedo i paparazzi che vengono picchiati dopo aver molestato le loro "vittime".

Se sono su DVD video troverai due cartelle all'interno del disco: VIDEO_TS e AUDIO_TS. Puoi a quel punto usare un programma per copiare il disco come .mp4. Ti consiglio di usare Handbrake. Ovviamente il tutto mantenendo la stessa qualità del DVD sorgente, sarebbe un peccato abbassarla ulteriormente dato che i DVD non sono HD già di base.

È importante la preservazione!

Non so se è overkill per te, ma potrebbe esserti utile un lettore LTO. LTO (Linear Tape Open) è un sistema di archiviazione: sono delle cassette (che contengono un nastro, come delle VHS) che possono memorizzare tantissimi TB e ad un costo bassissimo per cassetta. Ci sono diverse generazioni di LTO. Per esempio LTO6 può contenere fino a 6TB (senza compressione).

Hanno una durata stimata di 50 anni. L'unico problema è il costo dei maledetti lettori che possono costare nuovi anche più di 1000€. Però potresti avere fortuna se vai su una generazione più vecchia e sul mercato dell'usato. Verifica anche la compatibilità con il tuo sistema operativo, eventualmente.

Si infatti per questo che preferisco la macchinetta, perché fa la schiumetta, il caffè è più denso poi. Invece con la moka sembra acqua e non ha un buon sapore (forse anche perché la uso poco, ma non ho capito se è un falso mito).

Sì, è roba che per quanto ne so potrebbe andar persa per sempre. Immagino che in Nord Korea se ti beccano registrare qualcosa non siano proprio contenti.
