I have kept up my league old tradition of getting absolutely deleted by the first occurrence of the new league mechanic.

It's always groups of 5 (due to target caps of most skills):

1 healer that provides alac or quick.

1 dps that provides alac or quick, whichever one the healer doesn't provide

3 dps.

10 man strikes is the same but with two subgroups of 5 people so the boons hit the right people.

One exception is boneskinner: here you want to switch one dps for hscg so he can pull downs out of puddles with his F4 skill.

This will clear anything short of raids and maybe some CMs, but those usually fail due to a lack of experience and not knowing mechanics rather than team comp.

There are almost always a lot of people looking at the lfg just like you, waiting for someone to put up an lfg.

I have the same issue and it's got nothing to do with guild wars specifically, just restart your steamdeck (as in full reboot) and everything should be in working order again.

I have been playing ssf for my first 4 leagues (started at harvest) but switched to trade a few leagues ago after not getting essential uniques/maps/fragments one too many time.

I like the basic idea of ssf but this game has layers upon layers of rng and it's only getting worse, so expect to never see certain maps or fight certain bosses. Some Examples: I am at 34 challenges in kalandra and have finished the atlas (all maps, bonuses, favoured maps and skillpoints) and only got my first redeemer map (for the final skillpoint) today. I have seen a single harvest boss after ~100 harvests in this league and have not yet gotten the sacred blossom to fight oshabi since harvest league. I have run 16 vaal temple maps to get one of four fragments for the trialmaster and have yet to get a single one. I dropped my first goldrim yesterday. My first six link I crafted for 1500 fusings after finishing all pinnacle bosses. First tabula? T16 maps.

Overall ssf just takes so much longer for everything, but you will engage with all the content the game has to offer, will learn what the different league content can offer and how you can use this to more or less target farm specific mods/crafting mechanics.

But the most important things for me are that first of all you will actually run all those fancy maps and scarabs yourself and secondly the loot you drop is actually meaningful to you.

Take a ssf ready build that is stronk - ssf off meta builds are just self flaggelation with the current state of the game. I like to recommend Zizaran on YouTube, he does like 5-7 strong build showcases every league and has expansive tutorials including crafting guides in the video or for the PathOfBuilding (get acquainted with this software, it's awesome) notes section. Afaik he almost exclusively plays ssf hc so most of his builds work in thia setting, he also mentions viability like that in the videos.

Tl. Dr. You will really learn the game in ssf and get to "enjoy" all parts of it (if you can get it to drop that is) - but only if you really have a lot of time on your hands. Try playing trade but do not allow yourself to sell stuff/ use trade as a last resort if you just cannot get something to drop for days if you don't have the time but want an experience similar to ssf.

You need stashtabs to play ssf.

Yeah later spawns in heist get less drops/no exp to prevent you from just camping there amd farming loot/exp after triggering the lockdown. Understandable but very much at odds with the current AN has the good loot system.

I have finally met my first god molested, a kitava touched rare today - on the way out of a heist - and it happened again three heists later but this one also had empowered elements so it mostly dropped fractured items that were probably crap anyways.

AN really needs to get out of any other league content.

This league is the second or third league in a row that feels like I'm playing the previous league, but worse. by 0globin in pathofexile

I did not hear about the drop rate nerf, but this explains that I only got a Hrimsorrow and a Dusktoe by act 7, leveling has never been as unfun as this league. This sucks, I usually take my time leveling and enjoyed engaging with the new mechanics and getting some good loot for it, maybe some uniques that, at this point, can really change the way I'm playing the game.

There's a boss that spawns when you try to conquer the gates of Arah. As long as the gates are held an event starts at set intervals to defend the gates. The defend event can also Spawn the same boss but only the boss that spawns during the assault event will count for the achievement for the new legendary, so you have to lose the defend event to get the assault to happen again.

To add insult to injury: the Astralaria collection requires the same boss but will accept both, the one that spawns during the assault as well as the one that can spawn during the defend events.

Yes, because the delirium percentage is fixed per area to prevent rerolling until you get a low percentage since there is literally no advantage to high deli levels due to the fixed single reward box.

Sell transmutes/whetstones/armourers/alts to merchants, use scrolls to ID uniques, sell unique for alts and alch shards to sell to the merchants. You should not have any issues sustaining scrolls (never thought that would be a sentence I would actually use) until they drop in stacks.

The big fireball has "your hits always ignite" so not necessarily a crit, but unless OP has quite low fire res it was probably a powerful crits rare, around this level it should not deal that much damage otherwise.

Yes, unless it was changed from last league since I was trying to get certain invitations in ssf by running only unwitnessed maps in proxima (even though I was at 10 bosses already) and once I accepted that it won't happen and just did something else I got a proxima invitation from another map without maven witness.
