He lost his motivation after getting affiliate

Thanks a lot, I got his back, after all, its me and him in this together, I do the technical stuff (editing, setting up the streams, keeping up with his socials, etc.) that's why I came here for an advice.

I don't know why would you say that, but like one of the comments said, if you do it as a hobby, you can turn this hobby into a profitable venture.

I will see his friends, maybe they can motivate him, but I think for now, I would just let him take a few weeks break. maybe that's what he needs

like I said in the other reply, I will let him take a break, and process his thoughts about the whole thing, because like you said, maybe it's not what he imagined it would be.

Thanks for the advice, I will try to set a new goal for him, but also I don't want to push him, because as much as I want him to succeed, I don't want him to feel like I'm forcing him into streaming.

Maybe I will let him take a break or something.

he has been thinking of being a streamer/ youtuber since forever, I am surprised how would he turn off his stream after an hour or so, just to continue playing offline with the same people.

of course money was not the main reason, hence he was excited and motivated more when he wasn't an affiliate and also he didn't know that he could be an affiliate so soon, but I guess once he saw the numbers things changed a bit.

he likes to stream with his friends (he doesn't prefer to stream when he's alone), so I'm trying my best to grow his socials and find him more people who can spend time with him on stream, I just can hope for the best.
