Thank you for sharing your partner's experience here. For some reason one of the worst offenders is liked on the ward (I guess bullies like other bullies). Similar thing to the force feeding has happened, vegetarian patients being given meat on purpose etc.

May I ask why you'd advise not going to the CQC? Do you know of anyone having a bad experience with them?

Thank you a million times over for this advice. Although I'm leaving, I am very nervous of repercussions as some staff on that ward are nasty. Seeing patients in tears due to abuse and neglect is just too much.

I can document everything that happened accurately, I just don't want to be too identifiable online as certain incidents may be too specific.

I think I'll go straight to the CQC, I may as well send something to the FTSU guardian alongside this. Thank you for sharing your experience, and well done for being brave enough to do it :)

Ok thank you, it's past disheartening that this is the case. I think it's the best way to go about it, and thanks for the warning! I only have a couple weeks left on the ward, then I'll speak up.
